Apollo
APOLLO Tubular Radiators
The tubular steel structure of the APOLLO radiator ensures optimum energy exploitation, guaranteeing high performance even in low temperature systems. Extraordinary freedom of composition is offered by the range of available sizes; 5 depths, 18 heights & unlimited lengths (multiples of 45 mm).
Thus APOLLO radiators are universally adopted in the regeneration and re-conversion of existing systems. Their rounded shapes minimise the risk of accidents, and make them the ideal choice for installation in public buildings catering for children, the sick, the disabled and the elderly.
Radiators of the same height can be fitted together with a minimum of two sections. They are completely reversible, therefore the preferred side can be chosen at the moment of installation. Radiators are made from 1.20 mm thick steel tube with a 25 mm diameter. The manifolds have a 25 mm radius of curvature. They have 5/4″ BSP connections with right-hand and left-hand thread and self centering moveable ring nuts.
Every radiator assembled is air tested to a pressure well in excess of maximum legal requirements for working pressure [12 bar for 2, 3, 4, 10 bar for 5 and 6] The heat output of radiators is tested in accordance with DIN EN442 in the laboratory at Stuttgart University.
